The Black Diamond
On instructions of the French company Pathé Frères, Alfred Machin develops a film industry in the Netherlands and Belgium from 1912 to the advent of World War One. He directs several quality films including La Fille de Delft, Maudite soit la Guerre and this wonderful gem Le Diamant Noir. A man is accused of theft and decides to quit the country. Machin's favourite pet, the panther Mimir shares the lead roll in this film with a magpie.
Damn the War
An army pilot is visiting the home of another army pilot in a neighboring country, and falling in love with his sister, when war breaks out.

War drama about a woman hero, in love with a military engineer and coveted by his odious collaborationist krauts . She does not give in to the blackmail of a German who is lying to her about her fiancé's alleged death. The only remnant of the Belgian production of the Frenchman Bergerat.
The Midnight Chimes
The film is based on the bitter rivalry of two pigeon racers, Fred, the bell-ringer of Bruges and Neel, the fiancé of Fred's partially sighted sister. Following a major tournament, won by Neel's bird, Fred's resentment drives him to mount an attack upon his rival so ferocious that he believes he has killed him. Seized by remorse, he intends to throw himself from the belfry, but his disabled sister risks her own life to mount to the tower and try to save him.
