George Jan Kooymans (11 March 1948 – 23 July 2025) was a Dutch guitarist and vocalist. He was best known for his work with the Dutch group Golden Earring.

Golden Earring - Five Zero at the Ziggo Dome
Golden Earring earned a unique place in Dutch and international music history by scoring big single hits with Rock classics Radar Love and Twilight Zone. The men don't have a thing for big celebrations and anniversaries, but for the 50th anniversary an exception was made. By the end of 2015 a large anniversary concert took place at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

Golden Earring: The Naked Truth
In September 1992, recordings were made at Grand Café De Kroon on Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam for The Naked Truth. The project did not hit like a bomb, but over the course of 1993 the Naked Truth virus spread like wildfire and by the summer of 1993 the record was still in the top ten of the album chart. Golden Earring: Naked III
Naked III (2005) is an acoustic live performance by Golden Earring, Holland's longest standing rock band, recorded at entertainment and event venue Panama in Amsterdam. This concert is the follow-up to The Naked Truth (1992) and Naked II (1997). The concert includes songs that have never been played acoustically and well-known golden oldies.

Golden Earring: Last Blast of the Century
The memorable concert of December 12, 1999, at the Groenoordhallen in Leiden is now available on DVD. For this "Last Blast of the Century," Golden Earring pulled out all the stops. Brass section, backing vocals, Robert Jan Stips, and Bertus Borgers were added to the quartet, giving the band an unparalleled boost. A strong set list, a fantastic light show, and stunning camera work complete the picture.
