Georgina "Georgie" Parker (born 16 December 1964) is a two-time Gold Logie award winning Australian television actress and has also appeared in film and theatre. She grew up in the Sydney North Shore suburb of St. Ives. She is best known for her acting roles as Theresa "Terri" Sullivan in All Saints and Ruth "Roo" Stewart in Home And Away.

Good News Week
Good News Week was an Australian satirical panel game show hosted by Paul McDermott that aired from 19 April 1996 to 27 May 2000, and 11 February 2008 to 28 April 2012. The show's initial run aired on ABC until being bought by Network Ten in 1999. The show was revived for its second run when the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike caused many of Network Ten's imported US programmes to cease production. Good News Week drew its comedy and satire from recent news stories, political figures, media organisations, and often, aspects of the show itself. The show opened with a monologue by McDermott relating to recent headlines, after which two teams of three panellists competed in recurring segments to gain points. The show has spawned three short-lived spin-off series, the ABC's Good News Weekend, Ten's GNW Night Lite and Ten's skit-based Good News World.
The Society Murders
The Society Murders was the name given to the April 4, 2002 murders of husband and wife millionaire socialites Margaret Mary Wales-King, 69, and husband, Paul Aloysius King, 75 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, by their son, Matthew Wales. The crime and subsequent trial received widespread media coverage throughout Australia and later became the subject of both a book and a television film.
Home and Away
Home and Away is set in the fictional town of Summer Bay, a coastal town in New South Wales, and follows the personal and professional lives of the people living in the area. The show initially focused on the Fletcher family, Pippa and Tom Fletcher and their five foster children Frank Morgan, Carly Morris, Steven Matheson, Lynn Davenport and Sally Keating, who would go on to become one of the show's longest-running characters. Medical Emergency is an Australian reality television series screened on the Seven Network. Medical Emergency is narrated by actor Chris Gabardi who also appeared in drama series All Saints. It was previously hosted and narrated by actress Georgie Parker, who also appeared in All Saints. Medical Emergency is filmed under strict protocol at Melbourne's Alfred Hospital's trauma unit. Medical Emergency is a ratings hit in Australia and has screened alongside other popular reality series such as Border Security, Police Files: Unlocked and The Real Seachange. A second series started airing Tuesday nights at 8:00pm from 17 July 2007. A third series started airing Tuesday nights at 9:30pm from 8 April 2008. Then three weeks later it was moved to Wednesdays at 8:00pm. It will return in 2010 with a lot of episodes that have not aired since early as 2008; as it aired only 3 episodes in 2009 after on hiatus for most of the year. It will return in late 2010.
Rafferty's Rules
Rafferty's Rules was an Australian television drama series which ran from 1987 to 1990 on the Seven Network. Rafferty's Rules was one of the first programs undertaken by the Seven Network's then new in-house drama unit, going into production in May 1985 as "a 15-part courtroom drama". The program had started out as a pilot episode, recorded in early 1984 with the actor Chris Haywood in the lead role. When the pilot episode was remounted later in 1984, Chris Haywood wasn't available and the lead role was re-cast to John Wood. This second recording was eventually broadcast as the program's first episode.
