Der Bulle von Tölz

Freiwild - Ein Würzburg-Krimi
The body of a young Mexican woman is found in the Main Valley, south of Würzburg. Inspector Peter Haller and his colleague Birgit Sacher are involved in solving the crime. Haller is not yet forty and was born in Würzburg. He has a quiet love for his city, for its clarity and familiarity. He will never fully understand how people can become criminals in such a beautiful environment. This is the secret drive behind his investigations, in which he is not just concerned with solving the case, but with looking into the soul of the perpetrator.

Pfarrer Braun

Joyeux Noel
France, 1914, during World War I. On Christmas Eve, an extraordinary event takes place in the bloody no man's land that the French and the Scots dispute with the Germans…

As Green As It Gets
Georg "Schorsch" Kempter is a gardener in a small Bavarian town, working day-in, day-out in his nursery, which is facing bankruptcy. He doesn't like to talk much. He never has. His marriage has long lost all its magic and on top of that, he has trouble to connect with his daughter. Only when he is flying in his own rickety biplane, Schorsch feels truly free. When the owner of the local golf course tries to cheat Schorsch for his money, claiming the shade of green of the grass Schorsch has planted on the golf course is not right, insolvency seems unavoidable. So just when his airplane is about to be impounded, Schorsch grabs the control stick and flies away in an attempt to save his plane and himself. He embarks onto a journey into the unknown, to places he has never seen before, full of odd and special encounters - and with every take-off and every landing, this tough man's heart slowly warms up to what you might call an idea of happiness.

The Line
The movie is set in a world where the human desire for order and rules has outlasted everything else. This world follows different social rules and norms, and people's purpose in life is to stand in line. This is simply accepted and even seen as sensible and important. Cal, however, begins to question society and the system because of his situation and finally finds the courage to break out of the queue.

Wanderjahre

Dad Got Grounded
Paul is living the dream. He’s a pilot who gets to fly across the globe, and at home, his beautiful younger wife Susan waits for him. The only catch: he promised to retire early and take care of their 4-year-old son Franz. But when he breaks his word, Susan leaves him… alone with Franz. On top of that, the kids from his two previous marriages appear on his doorstep: lovesick, morbidly shy 22-year-old Jonas, and Tabea, a teenager in trouble. His kids make him face the dire truth: he’s a bad dad. Now, Paul has one week to show he’s capable of being a father, or Susan won’t come back. When Paul reluctantly shows his kids how much he loves them, they finally bond! But is that enough to win Susan back? - BetaFilm
