Abraham and his pregnant wife Sarah are going to a hospital with a suspicion of miscarriage. They are sitting in the back seat of a taxi. The places the car passes by reflects the inner worlds of the couple, in a way these things the car passes by turn into their inner worlds: While they are going towards the hospital, the birth part of the Birth-Death cycle is seen outside. While they are going back, the death part of the same cycle is seen.

The little deaf and dumb boy Zeyno (9) is living with his father Mustafa (42) and elder brother Çeto (20) in their house far from the village. Zeyno spends all his time by playing with his cute sheep. His father Mustafa who can’t earn as well as he used to, decides to livestock by insist of his friends. Çeto helps an animal dealer called Emin (35) who he met in the town, and starts earning his own money. After some works Çeto trusts Emin and introduces him to his father. Zeyno is getting worried about his sheep after his dad starts selling livestock with Emin. Emin is going to make a big deal of animals with Mustafa and buys his all animal. A big transporitng of animals will be done. Zeyno’s beloved sheep is also among them. Zeyno how is very sad about his sheep, is now looking a way of saving his cute sheep and zeyno will be in a hide and difficult struggle.

Fragments From The East
1916. As the Russian invasion threatens Trabzon, Zeynep and Safiye set out west, taking Zeynep's four-year-old son, Haşim, with them. However, young Haşim succumbs to the brutal conditions of the journey and dies. Zeynep, unable to bear the thought of burying him in the depths of an unknown forest, changes her path to find a suitable village cemetery.
