Biography
Gwenllian Gill was a British actress. In 1934, she signed a contract with Paramount Studios, and had small roles in several Hollywood movies. She then returned to England, and starred in a number of low-budget 'Quota Quickies'. There, she met director Donovan Pedelty, who she later married. During the Second World War, she worked as a British Information Officer in California and Washington. After the War, she remained in America with Pedelty and acted for film and television. She died in 2004 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Bud is reluctant to become her partner, as he has proven to himself to be unreliable in relationships, but he tells her to call him whenever she needs help. While working in a beer garden, Florette meets Hap Stanley, an avaricious performer who marries her to get the rights to perform her show routine. Hap dislikes Jimmy and eventually convinces Florette to send him away to school. Both Jimmy and Florette are broken-up over being apart, but Jimmy pretends it is what he wants so Florette can be happy with Hap.

While on patrol, Derek is hit by a shell-burst and found by the German Red Cross, who turn him over to a family of French peasants.

Bill thinks Jack is offering to let him see the show from an unusual viewpoint after he forgot to get him tickets for the performance, but then they find the corpse of a murdered woman and Bill immediately suspects Eric of the crime.
