Black Diamond

Iván Berend is a nobleman from the countryside, owner of considerable wealth. If necessary, he duels and plays cards like his fellow gentry, if necessary, he dances and compliments like most cavaliers. But far from him is this high life. He prefers to lecture on natural history, and does not hesitate to prove his claims by burning a diamond. He runs the Bondavar mine and experiments on a fire extinguishing agent. Evila, the beautiful starlet, and her impetuous fiancé, Peter Szaffrán, work in the mine. They are hired by the Viennese banker Félix Kaulmann to help him with his grand plan for the coal basin, which will ruin Ivan Berend.

Ants' Nest

The head of the nunnery is dying, and the members are divided in two groups as the election of the new head approaches. Led by Virginia, the younger nuns stand up for changing the strict religious dogmas and would like a modern school with genuine science, a bathroom to be built, and a freer spirit. Their candidate is sister Magdolna, who went to secular universities, too. The seminarists, led by Király Erzsi, also rebel against the older nuns' strict discipline and the depressed atmosphere of the institution. However, Magdolna does not want to stay involved in the fight because she is deterred by Virginia's sinful attraction towards her and the tools Virginia is using to gain victory at any price.

Mr.Psmith arrives at the castle and realises that all the guests there want the jewels. The young man exposes the company and takes a wife instead of the necklace.

The satiric film, interlarded with burlesque elements is the caricature of the petty bourgeois. The hero, Kotlár spends even his holiday with his boss by jogging, in order to learn whether he will be nominated for head of department or not.

Grün Lili's parents have been collecting the dowry for years and now, with the help of a matchmaker, they have found her a fiancé, László Bölcskei. But Lili prefers the lump Szabo. Eventually it turns out that Lili's brother, Oscar, has been embezzling the dowry.
