Biography
An Egyptian actor who graduated from the Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1961. He joined the theatrical television troupe, and the first show he appeared in was Something in My Chest directed by Nour El-Demerdash, then he presented plays including The Land, Sheikh Ragab, Backstreets, and Empty Hearts. His work in television drama includes the series Al-Zaher Baibars and After the Storm. His notable film roles include Cry of An Ant, The Pleasure Market, and Silence Sons.

The Land
Set in 1933, the mayor informs the peasants that the share of irrigation of their land will be split equally between them and feudal lord Mahmoud Bey. The peasants send Mohamed Effendi to submit a petition to the government. Mahmoud Bey then proposes a project that would require taking part of the peasants' lands.

The Beginning
After a crash, a group of passengers are stranded in the desert. They attempt to cope with their new conditions as the most privileged of them all, an overpaid lawyer, declares himself a dictator of the nearby oasis and names it after him.

The Liar
When Hamdy publishes an investigative report condemning the owner of a textile company and accusing him of embezzlement and bribery, the owner tries to clear his name by getting the factory workers and Hamdy to change their testimony.
