Harikumar is a Tamil film actor, who has appeared in Tamil films. He is probably best known for his performance in his debut Thoothukudi and Madurai Sambavam. Moreover, he has appeared as a choreographer in over 100 films.

There is Gomathi (Karthika Adaikalam), Kutty’s niece who loves him madly which Kutty does not reciprocates. There are local MP Cutout Ganesan (Kathal Dhandapani) and DIG (Raj Kapoor), both keen to bump off Aalamaram and Kutty.

Karuvarai, being a prime example for an utopian village which has no crimes, people are taught self-discipline as a way of life,and honesty and hard work is valued. The villagers even shun a prestigious award for the model village, but don't want the local politicians to interfere in their way of functioning, which earns wrath of politicians.
