The Maria who became Callas

The series chronicles the transformation of the young Maria Callas from an ugly duckling to the greatest diva of all time, during the Occupation in Athens. We follow Maria through her relationship with the key figures in her young life: her mother, her Spanish teacher, her baritone lover, her pianist sister, the German conductor. However, each of them, impressed by her talent, has other plans for Maria.

Crying... Silicon Tears

This is the story of two Greek families, named Delafrangas and Bisbikides. The former family is very wealthy & lucky, the latter very poor and continually struck by fate. Chara's Café

This series takes place at the isolated village of Kolokotronitsi, a place where life has stuck some decades ago. When Hara, a young woman from Athens comes to the village and opens a cafe, a conflict occurs between her and the totally conservative mayor, Periandros, who doesn't want the ideals and ethic of his village to be destroyed.

Borderline

Centres on two brothers, Stelios and Yannis. The impulsive Stelios skips their small town, deserts from the army, and is thought dead, until Yannis, now a city cop, recognizes his name on the papers of an illegal immigrant seaman. He begins a search for his lost brother, a search that takes him across many borders: between past and present, between Greece and its neighbouring countries, between one identity and another.
