Dear children is a new comedy series from the creators of Siskonpeti about sibling relationships and mother relationships; when someone is the most beloved and the most infuriating at the same time. The adult sisters return to their childhood home to look after their wild mother, who is recovering from a cerebral infarction. The visit, which was intended to be short, drags on and the childhood home serves as a refuge for the sisters' personal crises.

Raid

Raid is based on detective stories by author Harri Nykänen and made into a 12-part series. The story tells about a police officer who has been investigating white-collar crimes is shot dead in a TV-studio. Another policeman takes his own life at his summer home. A young woman, an executive with a powerful electronics concern, also commits suicide. Her embittered father suspects foul play and he invites Raid, the woman's former boyfriend to "make inquiries". Meanwhile, the police are looking for the first killer - and the trail leads inexorably to Raid. Very soon, however, they realise that the guilty party is somewhere else, and the interests of the police and the avenging angel Raid converge. The unholy alliance shows that even those with morals may, to some extent, use immoral means to achieve an end. The Raid series was voted the best TV-programme in Finland year 2000. Tapio Piirainen received an award for best script and best direction.

Wingman

The series follows the lives of Juha "Juhis" Koski and Tommi Mäkinen-Renwall as neighbours. The men drift too far in their everyday challenges that lead to excessive outcomes. Unwillingly, Tommi and Juhis often find themselves in awkward and embarrassing situations where they are forced to choose one of two bad options. Tommi's wife and Juhis' good friend Harriet does her best to understand the men's antics.

Stars Above

Stars above follows the stories of three women from the same family across three different decades. The main characters – Saima, Tuulikki and Salla – each lives in the same country house. Saima´s story takes place in the war time 1942, when Finland fought against Soviet Union, Tuulikki´s story in colourful year 1978 and Salla´s story in the present day. Each woman is between 30 and 40. This deep and beautiful, yet humorous film pictures the encounters between people and the possibilities for choice. How much does the time we live in affect us - and our ability to hold on to our dreams? What are those things which we pass on from one generation to the next? What changes, what remains the same? And to what extent do mothers´ choices, let alone their unspoken secrets, affect their daughters´ lives?
