The Half

Yarim (The Half) is the story of two halves setting out to become a whole, of the efforts made by two children to play the existing male-female roles. Fidan is a 15-year-old shepherd girl who lives in poverty with her family in a village in eastern Turkey. Her father gives her as a bride to an unknown family. Zeynep relatives come to the land of Fikriye and win the love of the girls with purity. Ati, Zafer and Umutcan decide to keep the house overlooking the Girls Dorm. Men are living inside while girls are strolling in the yard. Insurances and electricity are cut off during the downturn. The plumber Ozgur, who is admired by all the girls, is called to dorm.

The four elderly men and a disabled young man embark on a prisoner rescue operation.
