In the 1940s, the policeman Imam moves to Cairo to work in an area devoted to prostitution. There he falls in love with the prostitute Nusse who works with the bully Jalal without knowing that she is practicing this profession. He is defended by an imam who beats an English soldier who tries to intercept her and assault her. He is tried and dismissed from service, then returns to live in the neighborhood and look for work, and becomes a pimp, a quarrel between him and Jalal al-Fatwa. Each trying to prove his strength and impose his power.
Aqwa Min Al-Ayam
Haniyeh exchanges love with Ismail, and refuses Morsi, who wants to marry her. Morsi rapes Haniyeh and is forced to agree to marry him and live with him a miserable life. Bakiza and Zaghloul
The series tells the story of Bakiza, who was surprised after the death of her rich elderly husband - Ashmawi - with Maji, his daughter, Zaghloul, who was raised in poverty away from her rich father. Ashmawi, the father of Zaghloul, tried at the end of his days to search for his daughter through advertisement in the newspapers, but the result is the arrival of his daughter Zaghloul late after his death to find his widow "Bakiza" - Suheir Al-Babyloni - arrogant and poor at the same time. This movie revolves around the story of an innocent girl (Nawal) who was married to a rich and possessive man who still wants her back after their divorce; however she meets a hair stylist (Shoukry) and falls in love with him. They get married but her first husband starts torturing Shoukry so he can leave Nawal but he refuses. Eventually, acts of revenge begins from both Nawal and her ex-husband.
