Eurovision Song Contest

Dream Team 1935
Geneva, Switzerland 1935. The first European Basketball Championship is about to take place. Basketball is still an unknown sport in Europe, and the national teams are meeting for the first time. Each wants the honour of being the first champion. Meanwhile in Latvia, coach Baumanis is convinced that he can assemble a team and take it to Geneva. He quickly learns however, that triumph and defeat are also part of the game. Coach Baumanis faces many difficulties, as well as unexpected help from those closest to him.

Romeo n' Juliet
Romeo n’ Juliet depicts the contemporary love story of a young Latvian girl, Juliet, and a Russian guy, Romeo. Juliet aimlessly spends tiresome days in Jūrmala; all she has to look forward to is leaving for England with her best friend in search of a better life. Romeo also wants to live for something and dreams of a hip-hop musician’s life in Russia. After Romeo sees Juliet for the first time and falls in love, their dreams and hopes for a better future collapse in a matter of days.

The film follows the Maestro's work on the concert program "Shakespeare. Sonnets. Pauls. Busulis. Keišs" during rehearsals, radio recordings, and the premiere. The camera also follows Raimonds Pauls during the creation of the Midsummer Eve and Christmas programs, capturing the Maestro's insights, conversations with colleagues, instructions to young soloists and actors, and his inevitable jokes.
