Two journalists born in the mid '80s decide to take a look back at how their country changed in the last 30 years since the fall of communism. The end product is a documentary containing footage of political events and historical milestones significant to Romania accompanied by a narrator's voice walking the viewer through the events, and also interviews with Romanian politicians and other influential public figures sharing their thoughts and their different views on those events.

The Stake and the Flame
The young Alexandru Bota, a former Romanian volunteer in Garibaldi's army, joins the secret organization "Order of the Rose" which initiates an action meant to lead to the liberation of the peoples from the Habsburg tyranny. One of the leaders of the order violates the agreement established with Prince Cuza and plots the assassination of Prime Minister Barbu Catargiu, in order to initiate an outbreak of war on Romanian territory.

The Son of the Stars
In the year 6470, a husband and wife team of explorers receive a mysterious distress signal from an astronaut who disappeared decades earlier. They leave their son on board their ship while they go searching for the missing astronaut — but fate intervenes, crash-landing the ship on a jungle-like planet populated by bulbous, telekinetic aliens and eerie stone gardens of frozen space creatures.

Videograms of a Revolution
A minute-by-minute chronology of the Romanian revolution in December 1989 in Bucharest. This cinematic montage of live footage from the state television company TVR and video taken by numerous amateurs becomes a new media-based form of historiography.

Test at educational class
The school year is inaugurated by teacher Socrates with an extemporary exam on the theme "How would I like to be the class headmaster?". Socrates' popularity worries the math teacher, Isoscel. But Socrates also has his worries about Anca, his daughter in love.

Stejar, extremă urgență
The secret plan "Margareta II", drawn up by the German General Staff for the intervention of German troops in case of Romania's exit from the war, is discovered by the army and the patriotic forces through a captain who was a schoolmate of the German officer in charge of completing the plan. In the end, the two officers will fight each other, each leading his own tank unit.

Citizen X
Based on the true story of a Russian serial killer who, over many years, claimed victim to over 50 people. His victims were mostly under the age of 17. In what was then a communists state, the police investigations were hampered by bureaucracy, incompetence and those in power. The story is told from the viewpoint of the detective in charge of the case.
