The dramatic tale of a father’s sacrifice for his son. Dramatic events are awaiting a family living in the countryside on a farm. While brothers living with their father are happy with their condition, Ahmet the eldest is not. He is amazed by what he saw during his visits in the big city. He doesn’t want to become a farmer. He decides to go to the city against the will of his family. After receiving the news of Ahmet’s death, his father seeks revenge.

Blackout Night

In this biographical drama, the Turkish writer Rifat Ilgaz (Tarik Akan) is forced to go into internal exile after World War Two, because the government suspects him of being a communist. Most of the movie follows him while he is on the lam, and during his reunion with his wife, who grows testy from the restrictions that hiding him impose on her. Eventually he turns himself in, and while in prison, suffers some torture. All the same, he endures with the flame of his spirit undiminished.

Big Man, Little Love

He is forced out of his solitude, when Hêjar the only survivor of a police raid on his Kurdish neighbors, takes refuge at his home. Gradually, he warms up to the kid and decides to reunite her with her family.

Station

The film focuses on the relationship between Gırgır Ali and a singer he has kidnapped. Gırgır Ali is a man who has been involved in many petty crimes throughout his life. Since his release from prison, he has been trying to live without committing crimes. One day, his old friend Palandöken asks Ali to kidnap the famous singer Yasemin. At first, Ali is reluctant to do so, but he decides to kidnap her himself to prevent others from doing so. The two spend some time together in an isolated mansion. Although Yasemin initially hates Ali, she will eventually be influenced by his lifestyle.

The Wounded Wolf

The film tells the story of a hitman exacting his revenge on the people who deceived him. Recently released from jail, Ali takes up work from strangers so that he can afford to go to Germany. He kills a divisive loan shark in exchange for some money and a passport. But, the money turns out to be counterfeit. So, Ali starts to search for the men who cheated him. In the meantime, he grows close to Gül, the daughter of the man he killed. This relationship, however, will make Ali feel some unfamiliar emotions.

The film depicts the horror of rabies in a small town. World War II is raging. The war affects the lives of people living in a small town in southern Anatolia, as it does everywhere else in Turkey. The village chief, Haşim, is making a fortune by supplying raw materials to Germany through guests from Ankara. However, the dog brought as a gift by the guests from Ankara bites all the children in the village who want to play with it and then escapes. Soon after, it is discovered that the dog is rabid. The entire village will mobilize to get the children vaccinated as soon as possible.
