Gitta is 20 years old, a girl with modern attitudes, who is courted by Ferenc Fekete. Not particularly liked by Gitta's parents, especially her old-fashioned father, Fekete dates Gitta in secret.

Knight of the TV-screen
This mocking criticism of public life and the media focuses on a TV series. The protagonist of the film, depicting the battles fought for Hungarian castles during the Ottoman occupation, is chosen to be the amateur Prohászka Feri, a worker in the beer-factory.

The Money-Maker
This film comedy takes place in the good old times of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy at the turn of the century. Bányai, an impecunious clerk suddenly finds himself to be able to make perfect imitations of ornaments on the bank-notes. Being spurred by his incessantly shrewish mother-in-law, he finds a solution to his family's financial problems overnight, but an ambitious detective becomes suspicious of him.

Rákóczi's Lieutenant
1708 János Bornemissza became the master of stras of Blind Bottyán from a raiding Kuruk. His weapon is driven by patriotism and love for Anna Bíró, the most beautiful girl in réthe. The captured Count Starhemberg takes the Labanc general to the Prince himself, and thus becomes Rákóczi's lieutenant. In the meantime, Réthe falls into the hands of a Laban for treason, and Anna is sent to the stocks. Suhajda, the lecherous hajdú, now thinks he can get the girl for himself. Anna sends a message to John with her brother, and at the call of the prisoners, Rákóczi's army marches. They encounter the enemy along the Váh. The Kuruks celebrate their victory with the wedding of Anna and János.

The Smugglers
In the thirties, the poor living by the Romanian-Hungarian border were forced to smuggle if they wanted to survive. Mihály, a Hungarian peasant, kills a border guard while fleeing. He is fed up with smuggling and wants to put an end to it, yet he needs money to get a job, so he embarks on another turn.

The Borrowed Castle
Among the Gruber family, the rumor spreads like wildfire that their wealthy American relative, Menyhért Gruber, is visiting Hungary with his daughter, Mary. Various plans are devised to exploit the rich relative. The boldest of them all is the plan of Bálint Koltay, who directly pursues Mary's hand. However, the young ones fall in love with each other so deeply that Bálint stands by Mary even when the "wealthy" Gruber informs him that he's bankrupt. At this point, the only thing left to arrange is for Bálint, who poses as a landowner, to actually present a noble castle to his future father-in-law.
