Story of My Foolishness
The celebrated actor considers his wife a nitwits actress of a mediocre talent. But an influential playwright, a friend of theirs, has written a play with the main role designed for her, Kati, particularly. Its title is "The Most Intelligent Woman in the World". On the day of the first night performance Kati recalls their past, the times she had together with her husband.

In a chic hotel in the French mountains, a lonely woman is attracting a lot of attention. And yet Eva is married, and thinks back with sad nostalgia to the first happy years of her marriage. She would like Adam to be a loving, attentive husband again. One rueful evening she decided to take a month's 'holiday' and travel to the mountains of France. But away from her husband, she realises that true love and appreciation are not about compliments, flowers or a night of dancing...

Outbreak
The main character of this film reminiscent of political writing is Laci, the young and ambitious factory worker. He lives with his brother's family. After an unsuccessful attempt to escape from his native country and the prison sentence which follows it he gets employed by Pray, the progressive thinker, at a newly established computer centre. It is here that Laci learns to know Anna, the new-leftist university student, daughter of the general manager. Tóth, although he does not favour their relationship, does not oppose it either.

He fears that he will end up like his father, who killed his mother's supposed lover and then committed suicide himself. Alexander wants to prevent this, so he attempts suicide, but without success. After recovering, his jealousy continues to gnaw at his soul.

The composer Berki András, in his co-tenancy noisy with the barking of dogs and the hullabaloo of children, is unable to compose the new song for his fiancée, the singer, although the premiere is near. He cannot believe his eyes as he sees the official decision that he will soon get an apartment on his own. Yet his joy is soon over. The pharmacist Ács Éva arrives with identical documents. The situation which evolves as a result of the new co-tenancy forces them to cover up things before their partners.
