Who can talk about the medals won at the Olympic Games in London, but at the same time knows who Captain Haddock is? Who knows whether Lacan was a hair growth product or a psychoanalyst and can also program their own digital television? Who has déjà vu when leafing through the Encyclopedia Britannica and when reading the interviews with the new Miss Waregem Koerse? Who, oh who, is the smartest person in Flanders, Belgium, Europe, and by extension, the world? That is determined by a fierce battle between three fellow human beings. A young musician and singer named Johnny has been notified by a law firm that his mother, an aging rock star whom Johnny hasn't seen or heard from since he was 3 years old, has died in a helicopter accident. Johnny has been willed her castle and all of her property and money, but he must visit the actual castle to claim these things.

With video footage from Will's rich past, this unique concert will be a journey through the rich work and life of the Emperor of Flemish song. Will Tura will be honored by more than 20 top Flemish artists. Bart Peeters, CAPPAERT, Christoff, Cleymans & Van Geel, Clouseau, Daan, Free Souffriau, Geike Arnaert, Günther Neefs, Helmut Lotti, Jasper Steverlinck, Joost Zweegers, Luc Steeno, Metejoor, Natalia, Niels Destadsbader, Ozark Henry, Paul Michiels, Peter Vanlaet, Ruben Block, Sandra Kim, and Stijn Meuris will honor him in a unique way. They will each 'adopt' one of Will Tura's gems (almost 60 number 1 hits in Flanders) in order to present songs from his entire repertoire in the presence of the Master himself.

The Voice van Vlaanderen

The Voice van Vlaanderen is a Belgian reality singing competition for the Flemish part of Belgium, and which is part of the franchise that started in the Netherlands as The Voice of Holland. It kicked-off on November 25, 2011 on VTM, shortly before the francophone Belgian variant The Voice Belgique went on air. A second season of The Voice van Vlaanderen for the 2012-13 season has started. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioner.
