From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Joseph Andrew "Jay" Hughes Paulson (born in St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, Manhattan, on May 29, 1978) is an American actor. Jay graduated UCLA in 2001 with B.A. in History and is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio. He also ran the 22nd Annual Los Angeles Marathon in 4:50:13, March 4, 2007. He is a practicing Theravadin Buddhist. He is also a vegan and is married to Courtney Paulson née Kohl, July 19, 2008. They have a son, Leland "Lee" Kohl Paulson born July 17, 2009.
