Biography
Jens Jacob Tychsen (born 19 November 1975) is a Danish actor and casting/voice director. Tychsen graduated from the School of Acting at Aarhus Theatre in 1998 and has since appeared in a number of productions in theatres across the country. In 1998, he was involved with Aarhus Theatre, where he starred in plays like The Last Temptations, Les Misérables, Servant of Two Masters and A Clockwork Orange. Jens Jacob Tychsen has also lent his voice to numerous commercials, documentaries and animated films, such as different series of Disney.

Rejseholdet is a Danish television crime series starring Charlotte Fich, Mads Mikkelsen and Lars Brygmann. Produced by Danmarks Radio, the program aired 32 episodes spanning four seasons from 2000 to 2004. Each episode revolved around an elite mobile police task force called "Unit One" that travels around Denmark helping local police solve crimes. Cases portrayed in the show were loosely based upon actual incidents of sensational crimes such as murders, kidnappings, cross-border sex traffic and child pornography. Rejseholdet won the 2002 International Emmy Award for best drama series.

Five of the episodes were listed among the ten most watched television programs since records began in Denmark in 1992. The first season finale topped the list with 2,717,000 viewers. In 2004, the program was nominated for the International Emmy Award for Best Drama but lost to Waking the Dead. The series concluded with the 22nd episode airing on 1 January 2007 and watched by 2.4 million viewers.
