Nepela
The film captures a period in the life of figure skater Ondrej Nepela, when in 1972 he returns with a gold medal from the Winter Olympic Games in Sapporo, marking the peak of his sporting career. At home, he is greeted not only with fame but also with the realities of the communist regime. Everyone treats him like a celebrity, but the sensitive Ondrej longs above all for an escape from this uncomfortable golden cage. He wants to live freely and in harmony with who he feels he truly is. Yet at the last moment, his promised chance to leave for a professional ice revue is forbidden, and he is ordered to compete in another World Championship. Disappointed, Nepela must find new motivation and also come to terms with the tragic death of his best friend, figure skater Hana Mašková.

Night Riders
Two men of principle face each other. One is backed by a whole, however poor village, the other by the law. It is a conflict that reaches it's climax in the closing shoot-out. Instead of the Wild West, the gunshots go off on the Slovak-Polish border. Michal Docolomansky as the horse smuggler and Radoslav Brzobohaty as the customs officer from Prague meet in Holly's Night Riders in a western-like confrontation set in the insecure years of the newly founded Czechoslovak Republic.

ŠTÚR
While visiting her uncle in Zemianske Podhradie, Adela, the only daughter of a respected nobleman and owner of an estate in Ostra Lúka, meets an extraordinary man. Scholar, philosopher and poet Ludovít Štúr rebels against social conditions in Hungary and, by drawing attention to political injustice, teeters on the edge of the law. 20-year-old Adela falls passionately in love with him against all common sense. She believes that if she manages to get him close to her, the proud and sarcastic man will begin to love her back. So she provides him with a temporary home in her mansion, pays for his private philosophy lessons and uses her father's influence to have Štúr elected to the Hungarian Diet. Just when it seems that Adela's plan is starting to succeed, a revolution breaks out and Ludevít is swept up in a whirlwind that will forever change Europe and their fate.
