Steel Nerves
Max is a young and talented manager with a totally disgusting character, hated and considered a bad person by those around him. Without respect, friends and love, life is meaningless, Max's grandfather, a powerful and domineering man, is convinced. To force his eldest grandson to change, his grandfather sets harsh rules: get engaged to a girl of his grandfather's choice, or Max loses his management position in the family business and is excluded from the will. Max is horrified when he finds out that he is being forced into a relationship with a plain and ugly nurse who works in a retirement home.

A Latvian series shot by the team at Jaunais Rīgas Teātris / New Riga Theatre over the course of summer 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. It's a story about a world that once again changes rapidly. About the belief that everything on this planet is subject to manipulation. The series centers around an advertising agency - a classic office where professionalism mixes with boredom, romance and an existential tiredness.

Shoal

Vacuum Cleaner Salesman
After hearing many success stories about direct sales companies, Roberts decides to try his luck in selling vacuum cleaners door to door. On the first work day he finds out about the possible bonus in case of at least 2 successfully closed sales deals. At a glance the task seems quite easy. Once Robert faces the reality in a block of flats and encounters its peculiar inhabitants, the task no longer seems to be so simple.

The White Helicopter
The film is based on true events leading up to the historical 2013 resignation of Benedict XVI. After succeeding John Paul II, and serving as Pope for eight years, Joseph Ratzinger shocked the world by becoming the first Pope to voluntarily resign in over 600 years. In light of moral and ethical upheavals in the Catholic Church, and the unique challenges of the 21st century, Ratzinger's cited reason of declining health raises more questions than it answers.

Rule of the Heart
A future husband has been chosen for Princess Alda; it is Prince Magnus. The King is getting ready for his daughter’s wedding and handing down the crown to his future son-in-law. Government ministers and advisors are making preparations for the royal nuptials. A circus troupe also arrive for the celebrations. A chance meeting between the Princess and a circus artist in the palace garden threatens to disrupt the wedding plans. The stranger gives the Princess a heart as a gift – because she does not know what that is. There is order in her father’s kingdom, and there is security – but no-one has a heart. The heart allows the Princess to talk with the grass, the trees and toads, and the silenced child inside her starts to remember her late mother. When the King discovers that, he gives an order to cut it out of her chest, but the royal husband-to-be hides the girl to fight for her new-found heart.
