By the River Nowhere

Early 1960s. Four friends, Admiral, Ataman, Pasha and Chief, walk the streets of the town all day or sit at the train station, wallowing in their dreams. Everything changes when the Admiral meets Marta, a student on an internship. The boy begins to prefer the company of the girl over that of his colleagues. This becomes the cause of misunderstandings between friends. Soon, however, Marta leaves.

State of Fear

Realistic depiction of the Polish martial law in 1981. John Malecki is a young actor with good career prospects in a Warsaw theater, preparing to play Hamlet, his dream role. John plans to go to Sweden. Any involvement with the new Solidarnośc movement might put his visa to Sweden at risk. But staying neutral in these times is not an easy task.

Rodzina zastępcza

Rodzina zastępcza was a popular Polish primetime comedy series broadcast on Polsat from February 23, 1999 to December 20, 2009. In 2004 the title was changed to Rodzina zastępcza plus and the series got longer episodes, as well as more regular characters and locations. The series told the story of the Kwiatkowski family, Anka and Jacek, their biological children Majka and Filip, as well as three children they adopted one day - Eliza, Zosia and Romek.

Provocateur

Warsaw, 1909. Arthur Herling makes an assassination attempt on a Russian police official and his family. During the action, the officer's daughter is killed and his wife is maimed. The wounded militant is arrested. Tormented by remorse, Herling agrees to cooperate with the tsarist authorities as a provocateur. Into his cell comes Adam Tanski, suspected of having contacts with the wanted conspirator Andrzej Woyda. One day, while being transported in a prison ambulance, Herling kills the guards. Accompanying him, Adam urges him to escape to the mountains.

Inheritance

When their rich uncle passes, his mansion of intricate puzzles becomes the backdrop for his estranged family's quest to secure a portion of his wealth.

W środku Europy

A small town located right in the middle of Europe, but in reality probably at the end of the world. It is dominated by the depressing atmosphere of the Stalinist era, the still vivid memory of wartime atrocities, and bitter ethnic conflicts. Above all, however, the town has its own secret. Seven years earlier, a bloody pogrom against Jews took place here. Bogdan, the son of one of the victims, tries to uncover the truth. Torn between his father's story and his mother's story, a witness to the madness of Chaimka, a survivor of the pogrom, he flees the hardships of growing up in the "middle of Europe" only to return years later to the cemetery where his parents are buried.

Osiecka

A fascinating biography of the poet Agnieszka Osiecka. The series presents her life from her early youth in the 1950s until her death in the 1990s. The background of this biographical story is the artistic, moral and political realities of those times, starting with education in a communist school, through studies at the Film School in Łódź, and the colorful world of student theaters - Warsaw's STS and Gdańsk Bim-Bom. It is a story about Osiecka's spectacular successes and failures, both in the fight against censorship and as a result of difficult life choices. The photos were taken in Warsaw, but also in Masuria, Kraków, Tricity, Łódź, Kazimierz Dolny, Opole and Zakopane.

Blood of the Innocent

A Chicago cop goes to Poland to get the hoods who killed his brother. When he finds out they belong to the local outfit of the Russian mob, he takes on the outfit's boss, as well as Dr. Lem, who handles illegal organ trade for the mob.
