He was born in Belleville, Illinois, and is probably best known for directing Troll (1986), Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988), Ghoulies III: Ghoulies Go to College (1990) and 2006The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (200&).
