José Juca de Oliveira Santos (São Roque, March 16, 1935), better known as Juca de Oliveira, is a Brazilian actor, director, writer, rancher and playwright. Juca became known for playing characters that marked dramaturgy, such as João Gibão from Saramandaia (1976), Professor Praxedes from Fera Ferida (1993), Doctor Albieri from O Clone (2001) and Santiago from Avenida Brasil (2012).

Saramandaia
Saramandaia is a Brazilian telenovela originally written by Dias Gomes in 1976. It's considered remarkable because of the Magic Realism (used by the author to subtly criticize the Military Regime of the time) and had 160 chapters.
