The Beginning and the End
Set in the suburbs of Cairo in the late 1930s, the story follows a middle-class Egyptian family grappling with the hardships of life after the death of their father, their sole breadwinner. The mother and her four children—three brothers and their sister, Nefisah—struggle to avoid slipping into poverty. They all go in different directions which aren't exactly good.
My Children
The wife dies and leaves behind three children and their father. The maid begins to set her nets on him, until she marries him after her divorce from her first husband. The maid dies and the daughter is accused, and at the last minute the real killer is revealed, who is the maid’s brother.
Days and Nights

We the Students
Three students, Adel, Hassanein, and Samir, face personal struggles. Adel is rejected by his father for loving his neighbor’s daughter, Hassanein seeks revenge for his father’s murder, and Samir deals with parental neglect after his parents’ divorce. Samir’s relationship with a maid leads to complications, prompting him to seek help from a dancer, Gamalat, for an abortion. The trio robs a bar for abortion money but finds it insufficient. Saidyh dies during the abortion, and Gamalat’s call to neighbors and the police results in their arrest and a fifteen-year prison sentence.
Love in Karnak
As Amina tries to join a performing dance troupe, the other members try to figure a solution for their financial situation. Amina falls for Salah, the troupe's director and first dancer, but Salah tries to keep his distance because he thinks she is in love with another.

He turns to liquidate everyone who stands in his way. He becomes drug addict and kills his close friend. (Ibrahim), after doubting the betrayal of his wife dancing with him.
The Death Ward
Tawfiq imports spoiled food for children which causes thousands of children to fall ill. Despite the efforts of the journalist Nabila to expose him, he is able to escape abroad, so the officer in charge, Fouad, decides to take the law into his own hands.
Spies Trap
Dalia is a girl belonging to one of the wealthiest families in Egypt. When the revolution of July nationalized the family's property and transformed her palace into the headquarters of the Socialist Union in the district, her parents die as a teacher and take care of her younger brother Essam, who studies engineering, but she hates the system of government and the Israeli intelligence has an opportunity to recruit them. She is forced to travel to Athens, exploiting her hatred of the regime and recruiting her as a spy to Israel, to work with great enthusiasm without telling her brother, who remains loyal to his country until he becomes an engineer, but knows nothing about the role of his suspicious sister.
