Biography
Anna Karin Elisabet Ekelund was a Swedish stage and screen actress. She graduated from the Royal Dramatic Theatre's acting school in 1933. She made film debut in Sigurd Wallén's "Giftasvuxna döttrar" (1933). Karin Ekelund had great artistic success in the year 1940 in films like Anders Henrikson's "Ett Brott" and Hasse Ekman's "Med dig i mina armar".

Louise Mareuil owns a perfume factory on the French Riviera. She is in a traffic accident with a sketch artist, Claude Dubois. She gives him a blank check which he soon use to withdraw 2 000 000 franc as a joke. Visiting her office, he returns the money and in return she hires him as a sketch artist for the company's advertisement. With his charm and wit he turns the factory upside down, to the chagrin of Louise. She is strict and orderly but soon after letting him go she begins to change her mind. Plot by Mattias Thuresson.

Sven and Alfred become quarrel when Alfred one evening finds Sven with Sonja. The fight ends when Sven leaves the island. He freaked out completely when he hit Alfred with a bottle over the head. Now rumor has that Sonja is pregnant.

A humorous story concerning the return of a prosperous Swedish native, Charlie Johnson, to his native country after many years in America. The acceptance and acclamation of himself and his American-born daughter provide many situations involving them, their relatives and the townspeople.
