An Anatolian Tale

Taner is a young inventor living in a small town named Gedelli in the middle of the moor. He had lost his father so he was forced to support his family therefore he was not able to attend the Science High School, to which he was admitted, although he wanted it badly. Taner’s mother always tried to get him married, but Taner had no intention to do it as there was a love in his heart, which he had not been able to forget for years. His childhood sweetheart Dilek.

Imperfect

Dilara decides to go out that night. Although not having any issues with her existence till the day, Dilara starts finding flaws in herself after she was faced with a barrage of criticism from her flatmate Kübra about her apparel as she was getting ready to go out. Questioning and comparing herself with any woman she comes across or any woman embedded in her mind for any reason continuously drives Dilara towards a damaged self-esteem. A surprise ending awaits Dilara who gets back home late at night, exhausted with all these thoughts.

The Great Istanbul Depression

Didem and Ayse aren't able to find a job even though it has been a while since they've graduated from the university. In this time period in which these two young women step into adulthood and need to make money now - this period of time that is short for humanity, but lingering for them - the days are not much different from the previous ones. On the other hand, in order to able to stay in Istanbul, they must at least earn enough money to cover their rent, on the other hand, what they dream of, what want to do. They cannot find a way to earn money. On the edge of the metropolis, they are stuck in between the skyscrapers rising among the terrace of their home and the ruined apartment buildings.

Şeytan-ı Racim

Emrah and Salih are two young university students living in Istanbul. Everything seems normal in their daily lives, but Salih suddenly becomes fascinated with the "science of magic," also known as "havas." Salih's fascination with magic gradually turns into an obsession. He takes things to the next level and wants to control the spirits in the spirit world. Emrah has no idea what is going on, but since they share the same house, his peace of mind is gone, and he finds himself caught up in a cycle he cannot escape. When Salih loses control of everything, Emrah, who begins to see nightmares and no longer has a normal life, finds solace in returning to his family in Izmit. While hoping to find some peace here, those who have been pursuing him do not leave him alone. When his family realizes they cannot help Emrah, they turn to Bakırcı Mehmet Efendi, who has dealt with such matters before.

Panem et Circenses

Named after ancient Roman poet Juvenal's famous phrase "Breads and Circuses", Panem Et Circenses focuses on the collective suffering of being limited by conceptual boundaries, which suppress a being's uniqueness, creativity, and sought self fulfillment. Inside a metaphorical universe, which is inspired by an aquarium, original characters depict their individual journeys in life, accompanied with a goldfish's tale of seeking a way out his habitat that is togged up with distractive ornaments. As each character tries to realize themselves in fashion, choreography, emotions and identity, the goldfish simultaneously continues his journey as an element that reflects their collective dreams, hardships, joys and disappointments.
