Kevin Jeffrey Clash (born September 17, 1960) is an American voice actor and puppeteer whose characters include Elmo, Baby Sinclair, Clifford, Splinter and Hoots the Owl. He currently serves as Sesame Street Muppet Captain and co-executive producer. In the fall of 2006, Clash released an autobiography titled My Life as a Furry Red Monster: What Being Elmo Has Taught Me About Life, Love and Laughing Out Loud. In a spoof of Siskel and Ebert's Sneak Previews, Telly and Oscar are seen in a movie theater, reviewing the silliest songs from Sesame Street. Telly loves all of them and he gives them 5 "Wows". Oscar, however, dislikes them and gives them 5 "Phooeys" (but ends up liking the last clip).
Jim Henson's Memorial Service
Following Jim Henson's passing on May 16th 1990, two public memorial services were held. The first (featured here) was held in New York at Cathedral of St. John the Divine on May 21, 1990. The second service was held in London at St. Paul's Cathedral on July 2nd 1990.
