Kim Jun-seo is a former member of the boy group 1the9, which was selected as 9th place in Under Nineteen under We Entertainment. He is also a member of the boy group WEi, and a member of the boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE, who participated in the idol survival audition Boy's II Planet hosted by Mnet and was selected as 8th place.

Boys II Planet
Boys II Planet is a survival show broadcasted on Mnet. It is a sequel to Girls Planet 999 and Boys Planet. Planet K premiered on July 17 while Planet C started airing on July 18, 2025. Boys II Planet is based on the themes and aesthetics of space. It consists of two programs, K and C, produced in Korean and Chinese respectively, with both programs following the same format for each contest. The show will create a twin group project, with both groups debuting at the same time. The final line-up will work in two different groups, K and C, and will also work as a complete group.

1the9 is getting ready to make their debut! On March 11, the boy band unveiled their official logo, as well as teaser images for their 'Wonderland' debut. The logo is a simple cube-shaped image that features both the numbers '1' and '9', and in the image teasers, all nine members can be seen showing off their own individual colors to the camera.
