The Side Where the Wind Is
Genka Zvyagin meets a blind boy, Vladik. This meeting becomes in many ways a turning point in the destinies of both. Also before the eyes of the audience are the life stories of other children, often instructive and tragic.

The Shield and the Sword
The year is 1940 and Nazi Germany is at the height of its military prowess, having captured most of Europe and eyeing the Soviet Union to the East. The Russian military command suspects hostile intent from Germany and so arranges for its spies to infiltrate ranks of the German military and the SS. Alexander Belov is a Russian spy, who travels from Soviet-held Latvia to Nazi Germany under an alias of Johann Weiss. His mastery of the German language, steel nerves and an ability to manipulate others help him to use his connections in the SS to ascend the ladder of the German intelligence. He uses his position to identify sympathetic Germans, who help him to procure vital intelligence, and to help local resistance movements in their collective fight against Nazism.

Three Days of Viktor Chernyshyov
Mid 20th century. Industry is developing rapidly and the need for workers in factories is growing. After graduating from the tenth year, Viktor Chernyshyov, now a city dweller, did not bother to continue his education and went to the plant as a turner. He considered it quite normal that the guys enthusiastically listened to the stories of his peer Kolya, a lounger who boasted of victories over women, and participated in his dubious amusements. Only one of them, Pyotr — a real worker, a doctor, tried to reason with Kolya and the others.

The Chairman
Year 1947... Yegor Trubnikov is giving all his powers to make life in his own Kolhoz better.

The Guest
On New Year's Eve, a small company gathered. An unexpected call interrupted the fun. Behind the door stood a neighbor whom the owners did not like. They turned off the light, pretending that there was nobody at home. After some time, shame seized everyone.

The Roundabout
Satirical comedy based on the notebooks and short stories by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov: "Romance with Double-Bass","On the Harmful Effects of Tobacco", "Misery", "Grateful", "Polinka", "The Cynic", "The Ninny".

Lullaby for Brother
Every year in the summer the guys meet in order to go on another sailing trip. All of them were very lucky to have faithful and devoted friends. But the seventh grader Kirill is keenly aware of the lack of friendship in his class. He especially felt this when he was accused of stealing a wallet. Kirill himself found a thief — he turned out to be a quiet and defenseless Chirok, following the courtesy of yard hooligans. Taking Chirok under his protection, Kirill managed to fend for himself and his new friend.

Troublemaker
A graduate of the village school Pyotr Gorokhov from the village of Dyadkovo comes to Moscow to enter a prestigious economic university; he succeeds, albeit literally by a miracle. However, Petya was always helped out by chance and mysticism. Compared to other students (mostly Muscovites and residents of other big cities), this guy from the province stands out sharply — both in manners, in reprimand, and in behavior. Accustomed to defend their principles to the end of Gorokhov was called Balamut (Troublemaker). Nevertheless, in the student community, he quickly mastered and became a leader. Everything would be fine, but he has two problems — unrequited love for the dark-skinned beauty from Cuba and English...

Comedy of Lysistrata
Lysistrata led the women of ancient Greece in forcing men to stop the war, that was devastating the land for 21 years. At secret assembly of the women delegates from both sides of the conflict, Lysistrata declared: "We must refrain from the male altogether - till the men come to terms of peace". Her instruction to every wife or mistress was to refuse all sexual favors whatsoever, and sit prettily dressed in best transparent silks, till the men yield to peace.
