Fatimah Binti Omar or better known by her stage name Latifah Omar (26 March 1939 – 9 June 2013) is a Malaysian actress who would often appeared in the black and white films with most of the big well known cast in Singapore. She was once the stepmother to the Malaysian actress Rahmah Abdul Rahmat She died on 9 June 2013 at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre due to colon cancer at the age of 74.Her body was laid to rest in Islamic Cemetery AU4, Lembah Keramat, Ulu Kelang,Selangor.

Bawang Putih Bawang Merah
The fairy tale is about two sisters, Bawang Merah and Bawang Putih. After their father dies, Bawang Merah and her mother, Labu, have to share the house with domineering Kundor and Bawang Putih. Bawang Merah has to endure more hardship when her mother dies. She is bullied, beaten and abused in every way imaginable by Kundor and Bawang Putih. As the tale goes, her mother eventually reappears – as a fish. Bawang Merah becomes happier and this puzzles both Kundor and Bawang Putih. Datok Merah’s Grandson
A period drama with Malay symbolisms, myth and folklore, the title Chuchu Datok Merah points to the mental image Malays have of themselves as descendants of Hang Tuah, the legendary Malay warrior of Malacca. Awang Janggut is very much a pseudo-warrior. Instead of a “keris”, a warrior’s weapon, he owns a prize-winning rooster. His battlefield is the cock fight arena. Home is a big but empty house inherited from his ancestor, and prefers living in poverty to working. The closest he comes to the high life of a warrior is when a rich businessman employs him as a bodyguard after he prevents hooligans from taunting the latter’s daughter Siti. Despite knowing Awang is married, Siti continues to flirt with him, causing him to leave his pregnant wife alone. She eventually falls sick and has a miscarriage. The film is a social criticism of people who rest on their laurels and ancestry instead of working for themselves. It is also one of the finest examples of the anti-hero in Malay cinema.

Naga Tasek Chini
Mayang raise by her aunt, Mak Tijah. Mak Tijah always ask Mayang to do hard work. But without Mayang own knowledge, she actually often assisted by spirits.
