All she knows about her daughter's grandfather, Igor Vasilyevich Kutepov, is that he is a rather successful businessman and 63 years old.

Run, Daddy, Run

The regular life of Tolya from Siberia is coming to an end: his wife is pregnant. Fearing the weight of responsibility he runs away to work on a shift. However, things don't go as planned. While on a train journey, Tolya meets a homeless boy Kolya. Due to a series of coincidences, wrong decisions, and the cunning of the young boy, Tolya is mistaken for a child kidnapper, and now the police are on his trail. Tolya finds himself playing an unexpected role of a nanny and tasked to deliver his new ward to his relatives in the town of Kogalym. Failure isn't an option, as it would cost him everything: his wife, job, and the future.

A difficult night for everyone at the mobile police group — Ermakova and Mosin. First their car was struck by three bandits, one of whom died, and two escaped. Based on real events. November 1943. The Nazis bring a new batch of Soviet orphans to Vyritsa, where a so-called "children's shelter" is set up in a former pioneer camp. The conditions here are unbearable: cold, hunger, forced labor, a punishment cell for disobedience, and execution for attempting to escape. But the worst thing is that children are used as blood donors for wounded Germans. Despite all the horror and inconceivability of what is happening, having united, the young heroes find the strength and courage to resist and decide to escape.

This story began back in 1986. Perestroika was already underway, but the Soviet Union had not yet collapsed. It was a time when there was no Internet, hypermarkets and even mobile phones, but they drank water from the tap, there were no traffic jams in Moscow, and the keys to the apartment were quietly left under the rug.
