Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German language detective television series. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series Tatort, and quickly became a public favorite.
The Founder
An alien from the planet Antoria lands on Earth and is promptly assaulted by the porn producer Gerhard Hornbacher, who steals his "form changer". Hornbacher sees this as a way to make money and founds the spiritual TV channel "Teleportal", where he offers people the opportunity to flee to Antoria to escape the impending destruction of the Earth, for a price of course.

But for Margit's husband Gerhard, housekeeping is a foreign concept and doesn't want to believe what his brother-in-law is now telling him. He had been in such a good mood until this moment and now this - no dinner ready. The three children are a little more understanding, but don't feel like getting into the kitchen either. To Gerhard's annoyance, the fridge is empty and he can't even find his beloved after-work beer. But going shopping himself on Friday is beneath him. He also has to repair the television for his neighbor Reuter.
