Parisiennes

A house in Paris happens to have two families living there with the same last name. In one apartment lives opera singer Gambetta Duval with his two daughters, Jeanne and Nita. In the second apartment lives old lady Duval with her grandchild Philippa and an her lodger, the physician Leon Monnier. Jeanne is secretly in love with Dr. Monnier who is secretly in love with Nita, who is secretly having an affair with the great playwright Armand de Marny.

Girls to Marry

Three brothers lead the life of bachelors and their rent is overdue. The landlord who also happens to be a matchmaker tries to marry off the oldest brother to a rich girl.

The Million Dollars

René Marelle from Marseille is actually a Swede named Richard Bergin, but he has chosen to tamper with his identity to avoid his Swedish military service. A look-alike has taken his place to fifty thousand kronor in compensation.

Television: Swedish Version

A young inventor has constructed a television set. His landlady has become very skeptical of both him and his invention, perhaps mainly due to the fact that he is constantly broke and hasn't paid the rent in months. Adding to the irritation is that the hostess's daughter loves the young man and is trying to convince her employer, the director, to finance the whole thing. The director wants both her and the television set, but his evil investment doesn't come to fruition thanks to the latter.

Sonja is a spoiled young lady who thinks she can get anything for money. She is living a life in luxury. One day she meets a lawyer who is a public prosecutor. They fall in love.
