Norskov

Norskov is a police drama that takes place in an industrial city in northern Denmark. The city is raw and unsentimental, and the financial crisis has left its mark, but there is still a lot of community spirit and empowerment. In the series we follow the policeman Tom Noack, who returns to the city he left almost 20 years ago, and his two childhood friends who in the meantime have become the mayor and primary contractor.

Darkland

Zaid is a successful heart surgeon with an expensive apartment and pregnant girlfriend. One night he gets a visit from his brother Yasin, who is desperate for money, but he refuses. Soon after, Yasin is found beaten to death and Zaid is overcome with guilt. A man has been in prison for sixteen years after killing of his wife. Now he seeks to create a new life, where he only finds warmth and fellowship with Turkish immigrants. He will also try to come to terms with the daughter who hates him. Denmark's submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1986.

Pianist Benny loses his heart to a hair dresser, who is already in a relationship with a married man. Things get even more complicated since all three people have pre-teens, who apparently know one another.

Elisa's husband is paralyzed after a traffic accident. She takes care of him at home, but it is difficult. Elisa's in-laws do not believe she can handle the situation and want their son admitted to a nursing home. But Elisa disagrees, and as her life slowly crumbles, she refuses to accept that she has lost her husband and the love of her life.
