Cantonese pop star Ronald Cheng stars as spoiled rich kid Dragon Lung, who spends his days idly loafing with his fellow teenaged trust-fund brats, Sue-hei (Sam Lee) and Gold (Tat-ming Cheung). When the trio's frustrated fathers force their sons to attend a police academy for some much-needed discipline (or else face the loss of their hefty inheritances), the would-be cadets bungle their way through boot camp in a series of madcap, gun-fueled hijinx.

Speed of Life

Hong Kong traffic E&C inspector To Cheuk Fung is dedicated to his mission. He and his subordinates often go undercover so they can easily prosecute those who speed, drunk drive, and hold illegal licenses. Cheuk Fung is an extremely cold person, serious in speech and manner, but he is strangely close friends with the boisterous Sze Ma of the investigation team. The duo are left speechless when they meet the rookie cop Bui Sam Yau, who they assumed would not be able to withstand Cheuk Fung’s strict demands. Sam Yau’s satisfactory performance catches the attention of Sze Ma, who convinces her to join his team. Sze Ma has been less than pleased with his subordinate Yiu Yiu, who prefers to do everything by the book and fails to catch up to Sze Ma’s painstaking style of investigating. Meanwhile, a racing gang has been wreaking havoc in the streets, sending out provoking messages to the police. Cheuk Fung and his team are given the light to track them down, but he ends up stepping into a dangerous boundary. A dark haze he has been avoiding once again appears before his eyes.

The drama is told in three separate folklore stories about love, lust, vanity, greed and selfishness. {Changing Pins} - Male and female fraternal twins fall in love with different men with the same appearance. The older male twin has an homosexual affair with a Prince of the Liao Kingdom, while the female twin falls in love with a poor scholar. {Judge Lu} - A poor scholar has an affair with a courtesan that resembles his wife. {Chasing Fish} - A scholar becomes the object of affection to a fish spirit and human girl with the face.

The series was originally announced to be a spin-off of the 2011 series Yes, Sir. Sorry, Sir! featuring the popular character "Miss Cool" portrayed by Chung. A costume fitting press conference was held on 21 November 2011 at Tseung Kwan O TVB City Studio One Common Room at 12:30PM.

A Watchdog‘s Tale

The detective Li Junsheng (played by Zheng Zeshi) who has repeatedly solved strange cases was rescued by a police kennel during the investigation and joined the police dog team. He loves dogs and knows the habits of dogs. After retiring, Junsheng used his pension to open a dog farm in Changsheng Village to fulfill his lifelong wish. Junsheng and his daughter Li Xianru (played by Zhong Jiaxin) depend on each other for fate, and their father and daughter love each other. As a veterinarian, Xianru often treats stray dogs for injuries and opens a pet clinic next to the dog farm.
