What a Smile You Got
Sergey Savinov, a yesterday's schoolboy, who failed at his entry exams, is at the crossroads. Where to go to work? After working as a stand-by in a local recreation-and-entertainment park, he tries himself as a proof-reader in typography, a laboratory assistant in a plant and exhausts all his stock of photos for passes. To replenish it, he heads for a nearest photo saloon, and makes a conclusion, that his calling, which he long considered as a hobby, is photography. A work which brings so much happiness both to him and to other people.

Zhora Volobuev, a slacker and stylist in search of a client, appears in the lobby of a Moscow hotel and soon meets Frank, the son of a Californian millionaire. Zhora invites Frank to his home, where Frank arranges a kind of press conference. He is interested in everything: how his new friends live, what they think about life, on what means they live. After the visit, Frank leaves for the hotel. In the hope of buying up the American's overseas things, Zhora and his buddies follow him and learn that their new friend is an ordinary Soviet journalist.

Fuse
Fitil is a popular Soviet/Russian television satirical/comedy short film series which ran for about 500 episodes. Some of the episodes were aimed at children, and were called Фитилёк, Fitilyok, Little Fuse. Each issue contained from the few short segments: documentary, fictional and animated ones. Directed by various artists, including Leonid Gaidai who presented his famous trio of Nikulin, Vitsin and Morgunov into the cast. It was called in USSR as "the anecdotes from the Soviet government".

A Wilful Princess
The capricious princess mocks the grooms invited by her father, allowing her jester to humiliate their appearance. Angered by the behavior of his daughter, the king orders her to be married off to the first beggar who entered the city. By chance, the "beggar" turns out to be one of the knights rejected by the capricious woman - the prince, who teaches the princess a harsh lesson that changed her attitude towards life.
