Brava Gente

Brava Gente was a television series aired by TV Globo in Brazil between 2000 and 2003, initially as a special year-end. The program was adapted from stories and national stories, and plays by famous playwrights, screenwriters and signed by a number represented by several actors and actresses. The genres of the stories varied each week with the style of each director or author. Brava Gente in the stories ranged from comedies and dramas. In all 53 episodes were shown, broadcast on Tuesday nights.

The Last Chance

Based on the life of the inmate and Brazilian muay thai champion Fabio Leão. Born in Vila Kennedy, a suburb in Rio de Janeiro, Fabio was involved in drug trafficking and banditry since the age of 14. In prison, his redeeming passion as a teenager for the ring led him to teach sports to fellow inmates. Everything blends in with his love story for Luciana, a lifelong partner.

Dark Days

In 1970, with the conflicts in Brazil due to political repression from the military dictatorship as a background, the inquisitive student Alice and the idealistic doctor Renato fall deeply in love. Their worlds are joined by passion, but they are kept apart for many years by family feuds and a country facing a turmoil that affects lives and dreams.

Mais uma Vez Amor

In Rio de Janeiro, the teenagers Lia and Rodrigo have opposite behaviors and personalities. The clumsy Rodrigo is responsible and good student, while the emancipated Lia is totally irresponsible. They have their first sexual intercourse together on April 23rd, and they schedule to meet each other every year in the same date. Along the years, Rodrigo graduates in engineering and gets married with Clara (Christine Fernandes), having a son. The single mother Lia has a life without any commitment, moves to Paris and comes back to Brazil later. After a comedown, Rodrigo leaves his family and quits his job to live with Lia. So Hard to Forget

Julia is a 35-year-old English Literature teacher struggling with depression as she tries to get her life back together again after her long, intense love affair with Antonia. Feeling totally abandoned after she and her enigmatic girlfriend broke up, Julia is thrown into a desperate, painful process. Her life and her values have been tinged with unbearable melancholy and her life's measure seems reduced to out-of-focus fragments of her memories. Her inner turmoil and conflicts hamper a process now made necessary - that of readapting to her new life. It is impossible for her to disguise her pain when she attempts to narrate emotions.
