SINESTESIA chronicles the vicissitudes of four young adults in two moments of their lives which are in turn linked to two dramatic episodes three years apart. One Way Trip
Eight young people drive to the Swiss Jura region, food and tents in the trunk. It's autumn and high season for a magic mushroom that grows there - the reason for their trip. After a few problems they arrive at the desired location deep in the woods, the tents are set up, the mushrooms are collected and when it gets dark the party starts. Everything is fine until one of the youths wants to get beer and comes back with a blood-covered and smashed face. They don't know what happened but need to find help. As they discover that their car has a flat tire and their phones don't work, they seek shelter in a nearby farmhouse. But that's just where they were supposed to go. Spuren der Rache
Frank Hennings loses his wife and daughter in a bomb attack in the middle of Berlin. In his grief, the retired civil servant focuses on just one goal: revenge. When the investigation is closed prematurely, he travels to Morocco on his own initiative and follows in the footsteps of Sharif Nader, the suspected mastermind of the attack. In order to get close to Nader unhindered, he applies for a job as a private tutor for his 13-year-old daughter Yasmin using forged papers. While Hennings teaches the girl in a heavily guarded house, he waits for a favorable opportunity to shoot her father.
Breakout
A film about kids with little else to offer apart from a well honed body, an overabundance of hormones and a high from their last line. Teenagers Nia and Pulpo hang out at the disco where Nia has sex with a girl he meets there, Foxy. On the way home, Nia and Pulpo are attacked by Spirit, Foxy’s ex. Pulpo is badly beaten up but the police intervene, and Nia ends up in a youth detention centre. He makes plans to escape in order to wreck revenge on Spirit, an eye for an eye, and part of his plan includes meeting Nicole, an attractive young lawyer.
