A young man (Mohammed Ramadan) travels from Qena to Cairo for work, but the only job he can find is as a painter. He is constantly running into trouble, as he deals both with his extreme poverty and his desire to live a decent life for his mother. His world gets turned upside down when he finds himself way in over his head, and it becomes clear that he must find a way out before it is too late.

A group of young men whose grandfather dies, and upon distributing the inheritance, they discover that their grandfather did not leave money for them, while he left a will asking them to search for a buried treasure, and to search for the location of the treasure it becomes clear that it is inside the madhouse. They plan to enter the Hospital of the Crazies in pursuit of this treasure, and there they have a lot of comedic ironies.
