The Bund III

The Bund III is a Hong Kong period drama television series broadcast on TVB in 1980. The series is a direct sequel to The Bund and The Bund II, which were both released earlier in the same year.

Being Twins

On a stormy night, twin brothers are adopted by the Fat and Thin Kam Lan sisters and separated. Thirty years later, the elder brother, Cheung Yan, inherits his father's business and becomes the lord of Wutian Island, enjoying wealth and power. Louie (Leslie Cheung), a spoiled pop star, has a one-night stand with beautiful dancer, Anita (Anita Mui). When Anita tells Louie that she dreamed of becoming a singer, he brings her to the stage and becomes a star. Anita has fallen in love with Louie, but Louie loves Julia (Joey Wong). However, Louie later finds out that Julia is dating his father, Kent (Paul Chu). Louie then leaves Hong Kong and heads to Paris leaving his career behind. Then he meets, Yuan Yu-shih (Cecilia Yip), a Vietnamese refugee that suffers from a war wound. In Paris, Louie lives his new life happily as a dishwasher with his new lover. However, his past life starts to come back when Anita comes to pay a visit.

Police Cadet '84 was a TV series which included such stars in TVB as Tony Leung, Maggie Cheung, and notably, Carina Lau. The story centered on a couple of young "cadets" in the Police Cadet School. Tragedy, romance, conflicts, and intrigues were featured. The series was immediately followed by a sequels titled "New Police Cadet '85" and "New Police Cadet '88". Both sequels stars Tony Leung.
