Ten Winters in One Summer
Four short stories tell about the inhabitants of the Moldovan village of Redu Mare. Stefan, a former front-line cowman, returned from the army and found unpleasant changes for himself. His beloved girlfriend got married... Originally from Redu Mare, the hero of the second novel is the power juggler Ion Ciocanu. The third novel tells about a young rural saint. His love for a random girl he met awakened a craving for a "mundane" life. But Valentine is lucky... The film ends with a story about Toolbarel, a cheerful and wise old man. He appears in all the other novels.
