Together Alone is a dramatic film divided into three parts, each of which introduces us to the lives of different characters, both students and adults, each of whom is dealing with their own problems. The first part introduces us to the life of Ema, a student at a private high school who finds herself in a controversial situation after looking for a part-time job to supplement her income. The second part follows three ambitious students at a state high school who take their ambitions to become doctors too seriously. The third part takes us into the family of eleven-year-old Anička and her mother, where Anička's desire to be the only important person in her mother's life leads to unexpected events.

Pepa

Pepa is a fifty-year-old civil servant living with his family in an ordinary district town. Pepa is somewhat henpecked, lacking respect even from his wife, let alone his daughter. Pepa knows that something has to change, and he even knows very well what that "something" is. But! The path to the goal is sometimes very thorny, and so we follow a series of more or less futile and tragicomic attempts by Pepa, the outsider hero, to finally start living his life. Will he manage to find answers to the questions "Why is he in the world? When does real life begin? After birth, after graduation, after first sex, after marriage or children? Or only after death?"

Kňoura, Josefa, Janata, Kačera, and grandson Tomáš are in for a trip they will never forget. A helicopter flight, sleeping under the stars, dinner at a posh restaurant, a race with a Formula 1 driver, but also fun on the merry-go-round.

Bastardi: Reparát

Teacher Majer is released from prison under an amnesty. His elementary school classmate Ivan, who lives in a Roma ghetto, takes him into his home. Majer has no family. He has no one left, so he welcomes Ivan's offer. Ivan tells Majer that he has decided to help him mainly because he needs to reopen the school where Majer used to teach and briefly served as principal. Living in the ghetto, Ivan is familiar with the problems of his community and knows that the closure of their beloved school has not been good for them. Majer begins to reach out to his former colleagues and, above all, his students to ask for their help. Many of his students also have children of their own. He experiences a number of comical situations with them. However, he has no idea that he is still being watched by Dostál, the eldest member of the mafia family, who knows that Majer has been released and decides to avenge his son and grandson.
