Nazir Hussain, also credited as Nasir Hussain (15 May 1922 – 16 October 1987) was an Indian film actor, director and screenwriter. He was famous as a character actor in Hindi Cinema and acted in almost 500 films. Dev Anand starred in a large proportion of the films he acted in.

Chandan Ka Palna
Ajit lives with his mother, and comes from a very wealthy family. He meets with beautiful Shobha and both fall in love with each other. Ajit's mom is delighted and agrees to meet with Harikishan Rai, Shobha's father, to finalize their marriage. The marriage takes place with great pomp and ceremony. A few years later, Ajit notices a change in Shobha's behavior. She changes her lifestyle, adopts a more liberal outlook, takes to drinking alcohol, and has an hair-cut. Ajit and his mom are perplexed and appalled at this change, and want to find out, but Shobha refuses to tell them anything. One day, Shobha and Ajit's mom have an argument, and Shobha angrily lifts up her hand to slap her, only to be stopped by Ajit, who asks Shobha to leave immediately. Shobha leaves and returns to her father's house, leaving Ajit and his mother behind wondering what had changed Shobha so much, and whether to get Ajit married a second time or not.

Qaid
Advocate Jai Saxena lives in a small flat with his mom. One day his mom hires a maidservant named Imarsi, but later they find out that she is an impostor, and fire her. A few days later she comes knocking on their door in the dead of night, claiming that she is the sole heiress of Rai Bahadur Tulsinath's estate, and that someone is out to kill her. Jai wants to believe her, but his mother disbelieves her and wants her out of their lives, as she feels that this is nothing but another trick on her part to fool them. When the police are notified, the Saxenas are told that this woman's real name is Ragini, a homicidal killer, wanted by the police. Will Jai be convinced that he was offering to shelter a fugitive from the law?

Aas Ka Panchhi
Rajan "Raju" Khanna lives with his elderly father Nihalchand, his mom, and his younger sister. He studies Arts in college, and has a sweetheart, fellow-collegian Neena Bakshi. When Rajan graduates, his father wants him to work at the same firm where he's employed, but Rajan wants to join the military. His father opposes this, and after he has a heart attack, Rajan accepts the job offer and starts working in his father's office. He does not do well, his father passes away, and he joins the military. When he returns, nothing is the same. Neena is engaged to marry a handsome, rich young doctor, and her dad refuses to even consider Rajan for his son-in-law. Disheartened, he returns to the military and goes into the war zone. He volunteers to rescue a senior military officer, gets through enemy lines, and is shocked to discover that the senior military officer is none other than Major Bakshi. Both men know that only one of them can make it safely back to his base.

Khamoshi
Colonel Sahab is a doctor in a psychiatry ward and Nurse Radha (Waheeda Rahman) is heart-broken after a civilian patient, Dev Kumar (Dharmendra), whom she cared for, pouring out her love and affection, leaves the hospital, as she had been unable to keep her heart separate from her professional work and had fallen in love with her patient. Next Arun Choudury (Rajesh Khanna), a writer and poet enters as a patient, suffering acute mania after being rejected by his lover, Sulekha. After refusing to take his care, Radha relents and starts nursing him. In between while caring for Arun she reminisces her past and tells a story of how she took care of injured brave army soldiers when she was posted in Laddakh during the Sino-Indian war of 1962.
