Bare Behind Bars

In a women's prison in Brazil, the inmates are young and beautiful, the warden is a sadist, all but one of the guards are cruel, and the nurse is an incompetent cuckoo. To make it difficult for the inmates to hide contraband, they wear no underwear. They are alternately murderous and orgiastic with each other, and they engage in sex play with some of the guards. The warden pimps out inmates to wealthy lesbians. With the help of the nurse and under the cover of Carnival, three inmates stage an escape. Once out, will they contrive to stay undiscovered, or will their natures guarantee an ill-fated end to their attempt?

Three criminals escape from prison and break in a seaside house to wait for the getaway boat. They subdue four aspirant actresses and three men and rape and torture them. One of the escapees is an idealistic political prisoner that falls in love with Letícia. When the violent Jorge kills a woman camped on the beach, the police investigate the area.

The lonely Jeruza lives in a simple isolated house by the seaside with the siblings Cassandra and Ulisses and the family survives by selling handicrafts for a local store. Her husband, Santiago, is a sailor who has been missing for many years. When the stranger Roque arrives at Jeruza's house late afternoon, he tells her that Santiago was murdered in a bar fight. Jeruza lodges Roque to spend the night and they have a one night stand. He then seduces Cassandra, who loses her virginity with him and he convinces Ulisses to have an incestuous relationship with his sister.
