Biography
Noel Fielding is a British artist, comedian and actor. He is known for his role as Vince Noir in The Mighty Boosh, which he co-writes with comedy partner Julian Barratt and role as team captain on music panel show Never Mind The Buzzcocks. In 2017, he became one of the hosts of The Great British Bake Off, and maintains the position to date. Noel won the fourth series of Taskmaster, later reappearing and coming fourth in the Champion of Champions series. In 2024, he launched his Apple TV+ series, The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin. Noel is also the only member of the cast to previously be a Team Captain on the BBC’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

Channel 4's Comedy Gala is a British stand-up comedy benefit show organised Channel 4 in aid of Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. The gig is filmed live at the O2 Arena in London, and then broadcast later by Channel 4. An inaugural gala was held in 2010, while a second gala was held in 2011. A third Gala aired in May 2012.
