Ex-policeman Eddie is a dedicated private detective blessed with a healthy dose of audacity. His scruffy appearance and unconventional investigative methods are garnished with curiosity and clever remarks that lead him into unusual situations. At the airport, for example, he stumbles unsuspectingly into a staged bomb attack and becomes the only witness to an alleged murder. But the victim has disappeared.
