Biography
Poojappura Ravi is an Indian actor, primarily concentrating in Malayalam films doing comedy roles.He was a stage actor and was a part of Kalanilyam Drama Vision, the famous drama institution. He started doing Malayalam films in mid-1970s. He has done many " black and white " movies produced in Kerala. Ravi is actually a very flexible character actor who can do almost any roles which is evident from his movies. Even though the exact count of his movies list are not updated, he has surpassed 600 films. In the 1990s he also did TV serials. Now he still continues as a busy actor in both Malayalam television and movies.

Manjadikuru
A story of homecoming from late 1970s, when 10 year old Vicky arrives at his grandparents home in rural Kerala to attend his grandfather's funeral. The disjointed family gathers together for the sixteen day long funeral period. During this period, Vicky discovers more about himself, his family and culture than he had expected to. The journey is narrated through the memories of an adult Vicky who returns to the same house to recount the experience.

Guppy
The story revolves around a boy named Guppy(Master Chethan) who finds his living out of rearing and selling the small fish Guppy. A post-master named Dilip Kumar re-locates to work in Mutharamkunnu. Once there, he sets about to meet the local residents and finds out that they are obsessed with wrestling. He meets with a proud and retired wrestler, Kuttan Pillai, and subsequently gets smitten by his daughter, Amminikutty. When he finds out that she an ardent fan of Mammooty, he lets it known that he is the latter's close friend. He intercepts her fan-mail, and even corresponds with her.
